Welcome to the Winter Semester 2026/27 at CERES!

As the winter semester begins, we recommend visiting the degree program websites, where you will find, among other things, the current CERES timetable. This provides a central overview of courses, dates, times, and locations.

The introductory session for first-year BA students will take place on Tuesday, 13 October, at 10:00 a.m. in room GB 5/38. It will be followed by a welcome breakfast for new students, organized by the Student Council (Fachschaftsrat).

The introductory session for first-year MA students will take place on the same day at 2:00 p.m. via Zoom. The link will be provided by the Dean of Studies, Prof. Dr Maren Freudenberg.

For questions relating to their studies, students can turn to the Student Council, which provides an important point of contact and supports students through advice and opportunities for exchange.

The FAQ section on the degree programme website may also serve as a useful starting point, addressing frequently asked questions about studying Religious Studies in Bochum.
