Workshops for Practitioners
CERES has established the format of workshops for practitioners with the aim of bringing together research results, current social developments, and the resulting needs in practical work and discussing them with non-academic partners and stakeholders. On the one hand, practitioners discuss the relevance of research results for their work with scholars and explore possible options for action. On the other hand, scholars discuss their research interests with practitioners against the background of practical needs. CERES has successfully conducted two practical workshops in recent years, one designed for public administration and the other focussing on religious diversity and its effects in refugee homes. The handouts developed following both workshops are publicly available on the website and offer important information on the work of practitioners and their needs with regard to religious diversity.
