New Vlog Episode poses central question: Why study religious studies?
As part of the vlog series "Saddle up, scholars! A Cowboy Church diary," episode 12 recently appeared on YouTube. A video blog that answers the same important question in the Western U.S. that we keep asking ourselves these days: Why study religious studies?
In the new vlog, PhD student Anna Kira Hippert introduces the "Department of Languages, Cultures and Religions" at Missouri State University in the USA. Anna is affiliated with this university for the duration of her research stay. You will also learn why religious studies is anything but "out" and more important than ever. MSU professors tell their story, why they came to the subject and in which areas you can work with it beyond the university. In addition, the vlog shows how diverse the subject is. Because not every professor goes into the field!
