We are excited to announce the upcoming workshop, "The Final Frontier: Unveiling the Language of Eschatology", scheduled to take place from June 12th to June 14th at CERES, Ruhrpott conference room. This event is organized by CRC 1475's subproject A04, which is dedicated to the study of the evolution of Zoroastrian eschatology through the lens of Conceptual Metaphor Theory (CMT).
This interdisciplinary workshop will bring together esteemed scholars from various disciplines, including Iranian studies, Vedic studies, and Greek studies. Participants specialize in a range of religious traditions such as Zoroastrianism, Hinduism, Judaism, Christianity, and Early Islam. Together, they will explore and discuss eschatology using the framework provided by CMT, offering fresh perspectives and insights.
