Lunchbox-Lecture: 17.01.2023

CERES Palais, room "Ruhrpott" (4.13)

Presentation by Anna W. Klie and Jonas Bonke (TU Dortmund University): "Cohesion in Europe through Religion? - A quantitative research design to test key assumptions of religious social capital."

What influence do Christian and Muslim beliefs have on social cohesion in Germany, Poland, and the Netherlands? Our project investigates this question by means of standardized questionnaires and key question interviews. The quantitative sub-study examines correlations between religious beliefs, community involvement, and individual and generalized trust.

Please note that this lecture will be held in German. Questions in English are welcome in the discussion to follow.
