The Mercator Research Center Ruhr funded project “Tradition and Redaction in the Book of Numbers and Their Impact on the Formation Process of the Pentateuch“ brings together international expertise on the Book of Numbers (Fourth Book of Moses). The papers will focus on selected texts from Numbers. By facing new and old theories the conference aims at new perspectives in understanding the Book of Numbers within the formation of the Pentateuch as Torah. The conference will be held in English.
