Staying Connected After Graduation: The RUB Alumni Network
Graduation does not mark the end of your connection with the study of Religious Studies in Bochum. Through RUB's alumni network, former students can remain connected with one another and with the discipline, exchanging experiences and perspectives on career paths, professional developments, and new developments within the field.
The “Religious Studies” group is integrated into Ruhr University Bochum's central alumni network. The network offers a range of benefits, including an alumni newsletter, access to the university’s digital services, and a permanent RUB email address.
Exchange within the Disciplinary Alumni Network
The discipline-specific alumni group provides a space for both academic and personal exchange. Former students can share experiences from their professional lives, learn about opportunities for further education and professional development, and discuss current developments in the field. Events organised by CERES, such as graduation ceremonies and dedicated alumni gatherings, are also communicated through the network.
Insights into Professional Practice
As part of a series of talks on professional practice, graduates regularly share their career paths and experiences following their studies. These events facilitate an ongoing and productive exchange between academic study and the professional world.
Access to the Network
Membership in the Bochum Religious Studies alumni network is open to all former students and is facilitated through Ruhr University Bochum's alumni network portal.
