Subproject PR
Religion and Metaphor in Contemporary Media Realities: What can we learn from the Humanities?

The PR-project brings the CRC’s perspective on religion and metaphor to the public’s attention and invites the public to discover the CRC itself as a form of advanced research in the Humanities. Formats include a podcast featuring in-depth interviews with CRC members, a blog and social media postings on dominant metaphors in public debates, a school-lab, public lectures and roundtable discussions on the role of the Humanities, an annual CRC day, and a hackathon event. The project builds upon the broad experience in public outreach of CERES and works closely together with RUB’s communication department.
