Student Conference at CERES

This year's student conference in the scientific study of religion (Religionswissenschaft) will be held for the first time at the Center for Religious Studies (CERES) on 14 to 17 May 2015. Former venues were the universities of Heidelberg, Bremen, Bayreuth, and Zurich. Three years ago the student conferences celebrated their 20th anniversary with a conference at Marburg University.

Entitled Moving Religion the conference is designed and organised by students (both undergraduate and graduate) only and gathers students of the discipline from the German-speaking departments. Students will present papers on topics and methonds in the field of the academic research of religion(s). Additionally a public discussion will be organised with speakers from university, religion, as well as politics.
