Job Offer: Two Student Assistants for Project DiGA
The team of the research project DiGA based at the Center for Religious Studies (CERES) invites applications for the position of a two student assistant (studentische Hilfskräfte).
First Position
Tasks:
- literature search on Buddhism and the art of Gandāra
- building up a data collection and inventory of the corpus
- developing a terminology for describing the objects of research
- general support of the project team
Requirements:
- basic knowledge of Buddhism
- good knowledge of literature search including online databases
- good English and German language skills (oral and written)
- skills in reference management programmes (Citavi, Zotero a.o.) are an advantage
Second Position
Tasks:
- identification of applicaple technical vocabulary
- installation and administation of a test server
- installation of applicaple online databases
- data uploads and administration
- general support of the project team
Requirements:
- relevant experience in Linus servers
- relevant experience in setting up content mangement systems
- good English and German language skills (oral and written)
- experiences in the basics of Linked Open Data are an advantage
The working load of each position is 9 hrs per week. Both positions are temporary jobs and expire 31 October 2017.
