Five positions available at CRC 1475
The interdisciplinary CRC is dedicated to the systematic investigation of religious metaphors in different historical, cultural, and media contexts. The aim is to analyze metaphorical patterns of language and thought in religious traditions and to explore their cognitive, communicative, and social functions.
Three doctoral positions are offered, which enable independent scientific qualification within the framework of thematically related subprojects. Applicants are expected to have a relevant university degree, a keen interest in interdisciplinary collaboration, and a willingness to actively participate in the structured qualification program of the Collaborative Research Center.
In addition, two positions in the field of digital research infrastructure are to be filled: one position as a Research Data Engineer and one as a Research Knowledge Engineer. Both positions are central to the establishment and further development of sustainable data and knowledge structures within the research network. Tasks include the design and implementation of data models, the development of workflows for the exploitation and networking of heterogeneous research data, and close collaboration with the scientific subprojects.
