Employability Training for Students
In the Bachelor's and Master's programs in Religious Studies, students acquire extensive knowledge of various religious traditions within and outside Europe, both historical and contemporary. They learn source languages and social science methods and apply what they have learned in their own research or practice fields at the end of their studies. Here, they have the opportunity to test their skills in a seminar dedicated to employability opportunities and a subsequent internship and gain their first practical experience. CERES has been involved in the initiation of the project "Religious Studies on the Job". In this nationwide project, students have the opportunity to interact with Religious Studies alumni and discuss career options and experience outside of academia. This raises students’ awareness of their own profile at an early stage and enables them to benefit from the experience and knowledge of alumni.
