Manichaean mythology shows influences from contacts with other religions and a continuous development in the fragments in Iranian languages (Middle Persian, Parthian, and Sogdian). After a summary of the project, two case studies are presented: a Middle Persian fragment concerning the cosmogony from an egg, and a Parthian text linking the Sadwes constellation with the mythology of the Archon Seduction.
