Conference | Rethinking Religion and Globalization

Next week the international conference 'Rethinking Religion and Globalization' takes place at the Käte Hamburger Kolleg 'Dynamics in th History of Religions' (FNO 02/40-46). The conference is convened by Professor Tulasi Srinivas (Emerson College, Boston, MA) who is currently visiting research fellow at the KHK.

The conference is organized into three panels each focusing on a different aspect of the relationship between religion and globalization:

  1. Globalization, Christianity, and Process
  2. Globalization, Nationalism, and the Political
  3. Globalization, Ritual, and Meaning

The following scholars will give papers during the conference:
