Metaphorisierung der Metaphern. Die Entwicklung der zoroastrischen Sprache der Eschatologie

Mit Blick auf die zoroastrische Eschatologie stellt das Projekt die Frage, inwiefern religiöse Sinnstiftung auf der Transformation bestehender Metaphern beruht statt auf der Produktion völlig neuer. Es leistet mithin einen Beitrag zur Debatte um die Entwicklung eschatologischer Ideen im Zoroastrismus und in der Geschichte anderer eurasischer Religionen, insbesondere bzgl. der Aufnahme zoroastrischer eschatologischer Ideen in jüdische, christliche oder islamische Traditionen. Zu diesem Zweck wird das Projekt fünf historische Schichten der zoroastrischen Literatur vom 12. Jh. v. Chr. bis zum 17. Jh. n. Chr. bearbeiten.
