MPCD Workshop “Towards a Comprehensive Middle Persian Dictionary II”

This workshop, organised by the team of the project Zoroastrian Middle Persian Digital Corpus and Dictionary (MPCD), a collaboration among the Freie Universität Berlin, Universität zu Köln, and Ruhr-Universität Bochum and funded by the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft, will bring together experts from Middle Iranian philology and lexicography. The focus of the workshop is on the ongoing work on the MPCD dictionary. After presenting the lexicographical process considered in MPCD, by means of examples of lemma entries, and other similar activities, the participants will discuss methods and challenges of (digital) lexicography. Another aim of this workshop is to intensify the scholarly exchange and cooperation in this field.
