While usually at the margins of humanities researcher’s attention, questions of data management and preservation become increasingly relevant. The technological shift to digital media as sources and output of a project, as well as the systematic shift to data sharing and re-use require new ways of working with research data. One primary concern is the question of long-term preservation, which seems especially at risk in the digital age.
