 iscusses some aspects of the role of metaphors in religious language and t
 he study of metaphors in religious texts. It shows that religious metaphor
 s are not only useful for expressing concepts that are difficult to articu
 late directly\, but they also provide a way to make complex ideas accessib
 le and memorable. It argues that research efforts to explore and analyze t
 hese metaphors\, including the use of digital tools and interdisciplinary 
 approaches\, are not only a significant contribution to the study of the h
 istory of ideas\, but have the potential to change the reception of Buddhi
