DESCRIPTION:Poster\n \nDr. Sezgin will introduce an analytical framework 
 for studying transnational migrant organizations and the border-crossing c
 ontexts in which they develop and function. Particularly\, she will presen
 t four ideal types of cross-border migrant organizations (global\, focal\,
  multinational and transnational). She will then use this analytical frame
 work to analyze the border-crossing aims\, activities\, resources and stru
 ctures of two faithbased migrant organizations located in Germany: Islamic
  Community Millî Görüş (Islamische Gesellschaft Millî Görüş: IGMG)
  and European Federation of Alevi Communities (Avrupa Alevi Birlikleri Fed
 erasyonu: AABF).
