dy seeks to explore\, discuss\, and analyze the ongoing path of women in l
eadership in the Pentecostal/Charismatic movement in Ghana The main intent
of my research is to systematically analyze the stance taken by both the
Ghanaian classical and neo-Pentecostal/Charismatic traditions on women in
ministry and leadership roles. In addition\, I will point out parallels be
tween these two traditions of women’s leadership and how the leadership
roles of women have evolved over the years. I will then attempt to answer
the question of whether the different viewpoints are conditioned by cultur
ally embedded societal male hegemony. My work also seeks to dissect the Gh
anaian socio-cultural atmosphere and belief systems\, and its direct effec
ts on the ability of women to climb the leadership ladder. Another importa
nt aspect is to present notable evidence of women’s achievement in minis
 terial and leadership offices.\n\n \n\n
