"Women and Their Women's Leadership Trajectory in Ghanaian Pentecostal/Charismatic Churches: Insights from Fieldwork"

The presentation shall delve into the dynamic trajectory of women's leadership within Pentecostal/Charismatic churches in contemporary Ghana. Drawing upon a comprehensive fieldwork report titled "Women and Their Churches: Fieldwork Report on Pentecostal/Charismatic Churches in Contemporary Ghana," I shall seek to illuminate key discoveries unearthed during the research process. Through firsthand accounts, observations, and interviews, the presentation unveils women's multifaceted roles within these religious contexts, exploring their ascent, challenges, and contributions. By examining the intersections of faith, culture, and gender dynamics, this presentation offers valuable insights into the evolving landscape of women's leadership in Ghanaian religious institutions. It stimulates critical dialogue on the empowerment and agency of women within these contexts.
